Demetra Tsantes says
Donna and Melani,
I listened to the podcast tonight and felt like you were inside my brain and heart taking dictation. I too suffered the loss of my beloved Vasili- a love I felt I was lucky to have experienced. I’m determined to get my girls to college as well with grace and dignity. Everyone’s column standing strong. Every sentence rang true for me. Thank you for sharing and making me feel that I’m not out of line with how others feel. Hoping your second act is full of things to be grateful for. Everyone is sent a cross in life – the difference is how you deal with it. You two are dealing with it with grace. xoxoxo
Thank you for taking the time to comment, Demetra. I’m so happy to hear the podcast resonated with you. I so admire Donna for her candor during the interview. It was a hard thing to do and she did so with incredible grace. I’m sorry you lost your beloved Vasili. I loved every word of your comment, especially, “Everyone is sent a cross in life – the difference is how you deal with it.” Sending you hugs, Demetra.
I am overwhelmed that my words would touch you so deeply. My heart goes out to you and your girls and I am glad you know that there are others who share your story. We must be grateful for all we had and what we still have today…
